Pencoed House Wedding Photography - Kim & Gareth's winter wedding!
Hello, if your looking for Pencoed House wedding photography then please take a look below. Here is a selection of highlights from Kim & Gareth's November wedding at Pencoed House. Pencoed House is located on the outskirts of Cardiff and has a variety of beautiful buildings and grounds. This was my first time working at this venue and I was blown away! Not only despite the fact that its not actually in Pencoed - you would assume, but how beautiful it is. Kim & Gareth were wonderful. I was lucky to have worked with Kim in a previous job and having already known each other made the day all that little bit easier. The whole day was a great example of a relaxed, candid wedding day. Full of joy and laughter throughout and was a pleasure to photograph.
Pencoed House Wedding Photography - Prep & ceremony
The morning was a very relaxed morning with no stress, which is the way it should be. There were plenty of drinks of breakfast wraps which is no bad way to start a wedding. Firstly, I photographed all the details and surroundings were amazing. The ceremony also was such a lovely ceremony with laughter and a relaxed vibe throughout. Take a look at some of the photos below. I always prioritise natural, candid photography over everything else and I hope that shows in the gallery.

New House Country Hotel Wedding - Jolanta & Richard
If you have found your way to this page you may be looking for New House Country Hotel wedding inspiration. I'm sharing some highlights from an amazing wedding I was lucky enough to photograph. This was the wedding of Jolanta & Richard at the amazing New House Country Hotel. This is an amazing wedding venue that I've been lucky enough to work at quite a few times now. Every time I go there is seems to get better and better.
Jolanta & Richard were so lovely and such a joy to work with. Richard and Jolanta had a first look at there wedding. So they both met on there own (and with me) to see each other before the ceremony. This was the first time I had seen this and it was so amazing and would definitely recommend this to other couples who are looking for ideas for their own weddings.
New House Country Hotel - prep & ceremony
The weather was on and off at this wedding so you may notice that some photos are inside and some are outside. The rain and wind were quite indecisive and would start and stop. However this is a really good example how bad weather won't ruin your wedding day. It will not stop you from getting amazing photos.
Also, I got to see The Wild Sons who are an amazing wedding band that I've bumped into at weddings a bit. They always get all the guests on the dancefloor and this wedding was no exception. I saw one of the longest conga lines known to man - see the photos below. And also, a lot of props on the dancefloor such as masks and inflatables. This led to a lot of fun taking photos of the dancefloor carnage.
Thank you for looking through my work of this wedding at the New House Country Hotel in Cardiff. I love working there and if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding, i'd love to chat to you about your wedding plans. Feel free to get in touch by clicking the button below.
Mounton Brook Lodge Wedding - Sarah & Ryan
Hello there. If you are getting married or looking to get married at Mounton Brook Lodge in Chepstow then I have some wedding inspiration for you. In August I photographed the wedding of Sarah & Ryan at this gem of a wedding venue and had the best day for these two lovely people. Mounton Brook Lodge is in Chepstow and is a beautiful space as you can see from the photos in this post.
Bridal prep with the dream team.
I was very pleased to be working alongside some of my favourite wedding suppliers at this wedding. The amazing Jenna McDonnell was on hair and make up duties today. Parea Photography was the videographer and I had the pleasure of Alan Pope films being my second shooter. I'd met Sarah & Ryan a few times prior to their wedding and knew it was going to be a great day as they are such lovely people. Both were a little nervous when I arrived and I see it as my job to try and make people feel relaxed and comfortable. I hope we all managed to do that as it was so lovely working with some of my favourites.
Mounton Brook Lodge - ceremony
It is a beautiful, very intimate ceremony room and I love that. You can really feel the emotion and the vibe of moment in a room like this. It was lovely to watch these lovely two humans declare thier love for each other in front of their loved ones.
Speeches, Jenga & Party!
The day continued with some of the most heartfelt speeches I've ever heard at a wedding. There were tears and laughs throughout and was lovely to observe how much love was in the room for these two.
As always, I like to try and finish each gallery with an image that looks amazing and gives a different feel to the rest of the day. Mounton Brook Lodge has a field to the side of the venue that you can use for photos, so we took some lush photos as the sun went down! You can see a video of how we made these photos over on my Instagram.
I hope you have enjoyed looking and reading all about Sarah & Ryan's wedding at Mounton Brook Lodge in Chepstow. If you'd like to chat about your wedding plans, I would love to hear from you. The best way to get in touch is over at the contact page.
Hyde House Photographer - Claire & John's winter wedding on the stow.
Hello! If you have found your way to this page you may be looking for a Hyde House photographer. If that is the case then you are in luck. My name is Joe, I run Joe Lewis Photography and here are some highlights from a wedding I photographed at the beautiful Hyde House in Cheltenham. Claire & John got married in November 2024 and I was very excited to photograph a wedding at this amazing venue.
Morning prep with bridesmaids at this beautiful venue!
I arrived to meet Claire & John separately, and was blown away with how much amazing space there is at Hyde House. As a candid, natural wedding photographer, its important for me to be able to document the day without getting in the way and this venue certainly allows me to do that. Please take a look at some of the images of the morning and ceremony below.
Myself, Claire & John took some time for some photos of just themselves. We went for a walk for about 10 - 15 minutes so they would not be away from their wedding for too long which is something I always prioritise. I can take beautiful wedding photos without taking you away from your wedding for hours. I want to photograph all the candid and fun moments of your wedding also so, if you want me to photograph your wedding, this is the way I will approach it. If your looking for a Hyde House photographer, please get in touch via the contact page.

St Tewdrics House wedding - Danni & Andy's summer party!
Hello, if you have found your way to this page you may be looking for some St Tewdrics House wedding inspiration. Well, your in the right place as here are some of the highlights from Danni & Andy's wedding at St Tewdrics House. St Tewdrics is located in Chesptow, South Wales and has beautiful views of the South Wales Scenery. The 18th Century building has been restored to an amazing standard and boasts amazing grounds. There is a separate building that much of the wedding takes place in. Danni & Andy are a lovely couple who I'd met a few times prior to their wedding day and I knew it was going to be special. This was a wedding that was rearranged a few times due to the pandemic however it was worth the wait.
St Tewdrics House - Prep & Ceremony
I was lucky to have my friend Nick Murray Photography second shooting for me on this day which was amazing. A morning of laughs and joy throughout, which allowed me to photograph the day as naturally as possible with is what I love - natural wedding photography.
Amazing weather, amazing location!
As you'll be able to see, the weather was amazing which is not something I can always say in Wales. A beautiful location for such a lovely couple. I spent some time photographing the family photos before running around getting lots of candid photos. This is one of my favourite things to do and then get some beautiful photos of the couple themselves. Danni & Andy had spoken to me about feeling uncomfortable in front of the camera. I made sure that the photos looked as candid and natural as possible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to look through this lovely wedding that I photographed. If you are getting married at St Tewdrics and are looking for a wedding photographer, I'd love to chat to you. Please feel free to contact me via contact page.
Clearwell Castle Wedding - Lily & Rob
Hello everyone, if your reading this it maybe because your planning a Clearwell Castle wedding and are looking for some inspiration. Well look no further because today I am blogging some of my favourite images and telling you a little bit about Lily & Robs wedding from that beautiful wedding venue in Gloucestershire.
The venue - Clearwell Castle wedding
Clearwell Castle is a dream wedding venue to work at for me. Its is obviously such a stunning building and has so many interesting areas to take photos. I love going here and find that this venue looks beautiful in any weather.
Bridal prep & ceremony
This was one of the most emotional reveals that I have had the pleasure of photographing. When Lily's father came into the room to see her in her dress, both of them burst into tears and embraced each other and it was a beautiful moment to observe and capture. I tried to be as unobtrusive as possible as to not get in the way of the way people were feeling on this morning, which I hope has made the photographs that little bit more special and true to the moment and the people. When bridesmaids came in to the room to see Lily, it was very much the same. Lots of smiles and tears as you can see from the photos above.
A ceremony full of laughs and joy. The ceremony room at Clearwell Castle is a long and light room which is really fun to work in.
Party time!
The rest of the day was one big party. Lots of fun throughout the day with guests making the most of the good weather, lots of laughs and good spirits during the speeches and glow sticks and impressive moves on the dance floor.
So thats it. Thank you for taking a look through this wedding at Clearwell castle. If you are planning a Clearwell Castle wedding and are looking for a photographer, i'd love to hear from you. Feel free to say hello at the contact page!
St Pierre Chepstow Wedding - Kate & Jake
If you are looking for St Pierre Chepstow wedding inspiration then look no further. In this blog post are a selection of images from Kate & Jake's wedding at the beautiful St Pierre in Chepstow. Jake & Kate got married in November so this was very much a winter wedding but with a fair bit of sunshine which is quite unusual for Wales.
The big day
So, I arrived early in the morning to find a beautiful sunrise and the weather forecast looking good! Amazing! Kate & Jake are both lovely people. I met Kate at another wedding I'd photographed during the covid period of time and it was lovely to catch up with her and my previous couple. This was a very relaxed wedding which I think suits my style a lot. It gives me the opportunity to capture as many candid images as possible which I love and am often told are my couples favourite images from their wedding day.
St Pierre Chepstow wedding - first time!
So this was my first time working at St Pierre and I was really impressed with this venue. It is a beautiful building with lots of grounds. I was told the the rooms that the weddings take place in have recently had a refurb. I thought it looked amazing and was a lot of fun to photograph these lovely people in. Usually you can take a golf buggy out on the golf course to have some photos but we decided against this on this day as there are so many lovely area's to use without leaving the wedding and its guests.
I hope you have enjoyed looking through this lovely wedding and hopefully it has given you some inspiration for your own wedding. Ilove chatting to new couples about their wedding plans. If you think I could be the photographer for you, lets talk! Send me a message via the contact page and I would love to chat all things weddings.

Hello, If you are reading this you are probably looking at getting marred at Treadam Barn Abergavenny. I photographed Ash & Bryony's wedding at Treadam Barn and thought I'd share some of the gallery with you below. Before this wedding, I had never been to Treadam Barn and absolutely loved it. This was a wedding full of love and joy throughout. The barn itself is stunning with amazing views of countryside, take a look at the gallery below.
The Ceremony of dreams!
I do love an outdoor ceremony and Treadam Barn is a beautiful setting for this. Amazing scenery with Ash & Bryony saying their vows right below the willow tree, it was lush! The venue has amazing grounds and great views of the mountains in the distance. I do feel really lucky that this is my job. When you photograph a wedding and it feels like your best friends with the couple, you know your job is good and this was one of those weddings. The barn itself was decorated beautifully as you can see below. Shout out to Flour'd up and Fax Fox Dounughts for the amazing food on the day. The pizza and 'picky tea' I had was absoloutely insane.

Rosedew Farm wedding photographer - Chelsea & Mike
Hello. If you are looking for a Rosedew farm wedding photographer then this is the page for you. Today I am sharing a small selection of photos from an amazing wedding at Rosedew Farm for Chelsea & Mike. Rosedew Farm is located on the welsh coast and was the perfect location for this beautiful day. If my memory is correct, this was 'freedom day'. The first wedding to take place with absolutely no covid restrictions, live music and no masks. I remember feeling quite emotional actually and loved being a part of this day. This was my first time at Rosedew Farm and I absolutely loved it. The combination of the amazing barn, alongside the wild flower fields and the coast made the day a dream to photograph.
The big day
Chelsea & Mike are from Wales but live in Dubai. With plans changing not long before the bid day, we had to go ahead for the wedding as planned with no restrictions. Chelsea and Mike wanted a festival vibe on the coast and was an absolute dream to photograph. It really does mean the world to be when people welcome me into the day and I thank Chelsea and Mike for being so lovely and awesome.

De Courceys Manor is located on the outskirts of Cardiff and boasts beautiful grounds and is an amazing building. I love working at the venue as there are multiple rooms which makes adapting to weather quite easy. I also find that small and big weddings work really well here. The main reason I love this venue is because at night, it lights up and there are so many amazing photo opportunities that were not there in the day. The staff are fantastic. I am a recommended photographer for De Courceys Manor wedding photographer and am really proud to be.
It was a pleasure to meet Dave & Becca and be a part of their day. They are both very kind, gentle people and their wedding day was very much like them. Full of the people that mattered the most to them and very relaxed and chilled. I met Becca in the morning in the pamper suite, where the vibe was very relaxed. Their ceremony was beautiful and very heartfelt. I feel that the photos really show the connection between them. As always, the Decourceys staff were incredible and the venue looked amazing.
