Clearwell Castle Wedding - Lily & Rob

Hello everyone, if your reading this it maybe because your planning a Clearwell Castle wedding and are looking for some inspiration. Well look no further because today I am blogging some of my favourite images and telling you a little bit about Lily & Robs wedding from that beautiful wedding venue in Gloucestershire.

The venue - Clearwell Castle wedding

Clearwell Castle is a dream wedding venue to work at for me. Its is obviously such a stunning building and has so many interesting areas to take photos. I love going here and find that this venue looks beautiful in any weather.

Bridal prep & ceremony

This was one of the most emotional reveals that I have had the pleasure of photographing. When Lily's father came into the room to see her in her dress, both of them burst into tears and embraced each other and it was a beautiful moment to observe and capture. I tried to be as unobtrusive as possible as to not get in the way of the way people were feeling on this morning, which I hope has made the photographs that little bit more special and true to the moment and the people. When bridesmaids came in to the room to see Lily, it was very much the same. Lots of smiles and tears as you can see from the photos above.

A ceremony full of laughs and joy. The ceremony room at Clearwell Castle is a long and light room which is really fun to work in.

Party time!

The rest of the day was one big party. Lots of fun throughout the day with guests making the most of the good weather, lots of laughs and good spirits during the speeches and glow sticks and impressive moves on the dance floor.

So thats it. Thank you for taking a look through this wedding at Clearwell castle. If you are planning a Clearwell Castle wedding and are looking for a photographer, i'd love to hear from you. Feel free to say hello at the contact page!

St Pierre Chepstow Wedding - Kate & Jake

If you are looking for St Pierre Chepstow wedding inspiration then look no further. In this blog post are a selection of images from Kate & Jake's wedding at the beautiful St Pierre in Chepstow. Jake & Kate got married in November so this was very much a winter wedding but with a fair bit of sunshine which is quite unusual for Wales.

The big day

So, I arrived early in the morning to find a beautiful sunrise and the weather forecast looking good! Amazing! Kate & Jake are both lovely people. I met Kate at another wedding I'd photographed during the covid period of time and it was lovely to catch up with her and my previous couple. This was a very relaxed wedding which I think suits my style a lot. It gives me the opportunity to capture as many candid images as possible which I love and am often told are my couples favourite images from their wedding day.

St Pierre Chepstow wedding - first time!

So this was my first time working at St Pierre and I was really impressed with this venue. It is a beautiful building with lots of grounds. I was told the the rooms that the weddings take place in have recently had a refurb. I thought it looked amazing and was a lot of fun to photograph these lovely people in. Usually you can take a golf buggy out on the golf course to have some photos but we decided against this on this day as there are so many lovely area's to use without leaving the wedding and its guests.

I hope you have enjoyed looking through this lovely wedding and hopefully it has given you some inspiration for your own wedding. Ilove chatting to new couples about their wedding plans. If you think I could be the photographer for you, lets talk! Send me a message via the contact page and I would love to chat all things weddings.

Treadam Barn Abergavenny Wedding - Ash & Bryony

Hello, If you are reading this you are probably looking at getting marred at Treadam Barn Abergavenny. I photographed Ash & Bryony's wedding at Treadam Barn and thought I'd share some of the gallery with you below. Before this wedding, I had never been to Treadam Barn and absolutely loved it. This was a wedding full of love and joy throughout. The barn itself is stunning with amazing views of countryside, take a look at the gallery below.

The Ceremony of dreams!

I do love an outdoor ceremony and Treadam Barn is a beautiful setting for this. Amazing scenery with Ash & Bryony saying their vows right below the willow tree, it was lush! The venue has amazing grounds and great views of the mountains in the distance. I do feel really lucky that this is my job. When you photograph a wedding and it feels like your best friends with the couple, you know your job is good and this was one of those weddings. The barn itself was decorated beautifully as you can see below. Shout out to Flour'd up and Fax Fox Dounughts for the amazing food on the day. The pizza and 'picky tea' I had was absoloutely insane.
